Got Anton's email early in the morning. It's a looooong 2 pages message:) It's been long time since we last exchange long emails - back in the days at HEP.
Though....
"You've applied to *too* many public schools! It is extremely hard to get into public schools for international students, because they have to fund you throughout all your graduate career, as opposed to only 1 year that they have to pay for domestic applicants (i.e. until they get in-state residency)"

I should have applied to more private ones with the GRE score. Only 2 student from Penn physics did above my percentile!!! Too bad that international applications are streamed into a seperated line....
