Overestimated
Suddenly, feeling sick, disgusted and silly. Shouldn't I have forseen this? Well, no one believe in the apocalyse until the end, maybe. But this is really silly of me.
Sometimes, relationships stand in crisis. It stays firm and trustworthy in adversities in hardships. But it falls on subtlety. For when you are told "trust me", be reminded that, when the same word sneaked out from your own tongue, you are also not sure how trustworthy yourself are. There is nothing absolute in human beings. When told of "yes", be reminded of the hidden "no" that even the speaker is not aware of. When you hear "don't", be assured there's a "do" somewhere to be fullfilled.
For sin ruptured our eternity, we alone sustain on our instinct of fragility. There is no "forever" in our nature, and no promise we can keep to eternity. Consider the trust of others, on top of the knowledge of your own trust. Don't build fantasies, for we cannot even trsut ourselves. To approach long living promises and trust, we pay - efforts, sacrifices - to fight against our nature of fragility, which demands courage, rations, determination and the realization of the deceiving nature of feelings; or lives built on lies and fantasies, one after another, and we ourselves are destined to be the last to escape.
